Steve, I think you scored a total homerun with this mini. I love resin personally due to the lighter weight, but also because generally they are cheaper than metal and easier in a limited run. The detail is superb, the fit(s) are fantastic and easy with little or no putty work almost, and the cost is very economical. I hope the sculptor who did this and the werewolf does more work for you. He is a welcome addition in my humble opinion into the world of fantasy miniatures and Rusted Heroes!

Hey Torpted - I'm really glad you like the new Hydra. It was a huge project and it really came together from idea six or so months ago, concept art, scuplt, to the resin casting work of Ed over at Troll Forged Miniatures. Yeah the sculptor has been a great addition to our line. Ok so you'll have yours painted and posted here by next week right? Steve - RH

I totally agree. I really liked the preview photos and concept art that I'd seen of the hydra, but those pale in comparison to the actual figure itself. Epic...just an amazing model!

Hi Sinistar -
First off welcome to the RH Forum, good to see new people joining up. Glad we were able to deliver on Drekinn and thank you for the praise on it. We will definately be doing more large resin creatures for the Ancients down the road. Nothing set at the moment but with all the posastive feedback on the hydra we'll give it another large creature a go sometime in the future.
